1977 NOWZUWAN established on 10th June 1977
1978-1979 Sports & cultural programs.
1980 Registered with social welfare department of Bangladesh Government.
1981-1993 Short-term welfare activities.
1994 Social aforestation (Tree plantation) program started
1995 Transition to long-term grassroots development program
1996 Started sustainable group formation of target peoples with savings program
And free treatment.
1997 West Dengapara Nowzuwan club transform to NOWZUWAN (an organization of social
Development)
- Enlisted with Youth Development Department of Bangladesh Government
- Visit of Int. volunteer Ms. Lente from Holland by BWCA & YPSA and financial support.
1998 Started participatory credit program
- Started WATSAN (Water & Sanitation) program with NGOF
1999 Constitution is modified
- ADAB chapter membership
- Head Office setup at Patiya municipal area.
2000 Financial Support on adult education project at Cox’sbazar from DNFP of Bang. Govt.
- Chief executive attended on organization development (OD) training in INDIA by SPAR
- Chief executive selected as an outstanding youth at the upazila level the Youth Development Department of Bangladesh Government
2001 International work camp on the occasion of international year of volunteers (IYV)-2001 Jointly organized NOWZUWAN & BWCA at Patiya,Chittagong
- Started International individual volunteer placement program (Sarah-America, Claire-France)
- Financial support for Micro Finance, education, cultural, nursery project from Proshika & NAC
- NFPE project started with BRAC
- Chief executive selected as a long term observer LTO of election 2001 by FEMA
2002 Registered with NGO affairs bureau of Bangladesh Government

2003 Started good governance project with CARE-Bangladesh
- Started Gender & Development program with CSDF/STD
- Started adolescent reproductive health/gender/HIV/AIDS program with Youth Development Department of Bangladesh Government
- Finalization of Financial, Administrative, Service & Gender policy for Nowzuwan.
- Started strengthening local government program with BITA/ARD-Bangladesh
- Published “NOWZUWAN SHUSHASAN BARTA” under the Good Governance project.

2004 Financial support from Canadian CIDA for disability development program
- Finalization of strategic plan (LRSP) through CRSDN
- Financial support from LilianeFonds-Netherlands for disability development program
- Reproductive Health Program visited by Representative of UNFPA & Secretary of health Ministry.
- NOWZUWAN Received Certificate of Excellence from Youth Development department UNFPA.
- Partnership for Micro Finance Program with CODEC-Chittagong.
2005 Chief Executive Selected as a Vice-Chairman of Food to Right Movement at Chittagong Division Committee.
- Land Purchased for NOWZUWAN Complex.
- Registered with Department of Narcotics Control of Bangladesh Government.
- Registered with Joint stock Company (Society Act).
- Disability & Development Program Visited by Canadian High Commissioner.
- Financial Supports from PKSF for Microfinance Program.
- Started Project on mainstreaming education for the children youth disabilities support by the Dark and light Blind Care Netherland / CDD.
